Designated Person Ashore (DPA)

We are appointing a Designated Person Ashore to hold direct access to senior management on safety and pollution prevention matters across our managed fleet, running the ISM safety management system audits and acting as the reachable link between vessels and shore on any safety escalation.

The role must be available around the clock for genuine safety and pollution emergencies, and spends the rest of the working week on internal audits, non-conformity close-out and safety management system review. We are looking for a senior maritime professional, comfortable holding masters and superintendents accountable to the safety management system without becoming a bottleneck.
