How hiring works
Four steps from company check to a confirmed hire. Nothing leaves the platform on the way.

Get your company verified
SeaTalent checks the company's registration and an authorised contact who can act for it. This verifies the company — it is not a check of any candidate's certificates, which carry their own separate status.

Add the vessel and the job
You choose when the vessel name becomes visible: always, after application, or never.

Search the pool by score
A candidate with an expired mandatory professional certificate cannot reach the top of the list, and the reason is shown alongside. Medical certificates are never part of this calculation — you see only a badge telling you a valid one is on file.

Send a contact request
If the candidate accepts, their work file and a conversation open for that job. Name and contact details follow once the hire is confirmed on the platform. One request per candidate every 30 days.
