Registrations and permissions
This page exists so that nothing on SeaTalent reads as an approval it does not have. It lists the registrations, permits and reviews the platform needs, and says where each one stands. A regulation named anywhere on this site is a rule the product is built to follow — never a certificate the platform holds.
How to read the status column
- Completed — granted, and evidence can be produced.
- Applied — an application has been filed and a decision is pending.
- Not started — no application has been filed.
Nothing here is described as "in progress". That phrase hid the difference between a filed application and an intention, and replacing it is the whole point of this page.

What this means for you today
- SeaTalent is not a licensed private employment agency, and no page on this site should be read as claiming otherwise.
- Under MLC 2006 and Turkish Law No. 4904, no fee, commission or membership charge of any kind is collected from seafarers. That rule does not wait on any permit above: it is compiled into the software as a constant.
- Cross-border hosting of personal data is a separate open question, described in the KVKK privacy notice.
- If you find a claim anywhere on SeaTalent that this table does not support, this table is the correct one.
