Marine Surveyor — Yard & Pre-Purchase

We are hiring a marine surveyor to carry out condition, damage and pre-purchase surveys on yachts up to 60 m in and around the Genoa yard, working alongside insurers, brokers and owners' representatives on hull, structural and machinery assessments.

Work includes attending haul-outs for condition surveys, producing detailed written reports with photographic evidence, and occasional travel to other Ligurian yards for pre-purchase inspections. We are looking for a senior surveyor with a strong technical background, ideally including sea-going command or chief engineer experience, comfortable defending a survey report to an insurer or a disappointed buyer.
