About the role

We are looking for an ETO responsible for yacht automation, navigation electronics and satellite communications on our 88 m motor yacht, based in Auckland and cruising the South Pacific and Southeast Asia. Rotation is 3:3.

You will maintain navigation and communication electronics, manage VSAT and Starlink connectivity across long ocean passages, and support the chief engineer on planned maintenance for electrical and control systems. An ETO Certificate of Competency and a valid ENG1 are required. We are looking for someone with at least five years of ETO experience on yachts over 60 m.

Responsibilities

  • Satellite and network connectivity across long passages
  • Electrical and control systems maintenance support
  • Monitoring alarm and surveillance systems
