About the role

We are looking for a chief officer for our 52 m motor yacht in private owner use. 2:2 rotation, year-round employment. The vessel winters in Antibes and summers between the Balearics and the Tyrrhenian.

You will be responsible for the daily running of the deck team, the maintenance plan and tender operations.

Responsibilities

  • Daily work planning and supervision of the deck team
  • Running the planned maintenance programme
  • Tender and water sports operations
  • Keeping watch and manoeuvring support
  • Running safety drills

Requirements

Required certificates

  • STCW Basic Safety TrainingSTCW_BASIC
  • ENG1 Seafarer MedicalENG1
  • OOW <3000GTOOW_3000

Preferred certificates

  • GMDSS General Operator's CertificateGMDSS_GOC
  • Proficiency in Designated Security DutiesPDSD
  • Advanced Fire FightingADV_FIRE_FIGHTING
