About the role

We are looking for a seasonal captain for our 47 m charter motor yacht based in Antibes. The season starts in early April on the Côte d'Azur, runs Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics, and closes with winter layup at the end of October. We target 18-22 charter weeks a year.

The captain we are looking for is experienced in guest operations, able to lead a crew of 8 and to keep regular reporting with the technical management team. An MCA Master <500GT certificate of competency and a valid ENG1 are required.

Responsibilities

  • Navigational safety and passage planning
  • Management of an 8-person crew, watch and leave planning
  • ISM/ISPS compliance and audit preparation
  • Running charter guest operations
  • Monthly technical and budget reporting
  • Winter layup and refit period coordination
