About the role

We are looking for a cabin steward to service around 18 guest staterooms on our cruise ship, sailing Norwegian fjord itineraries out of Southampton through the summer before repositioning to the Western Mediterranean for the autumn schedule. Two very different guest profiles across the season mean adapting quickly between quiet fjord port days and busy Mediterranean turnarounds.

STCW Basic Safety Training, a current ENG1 medical certificate and Crowd Management training must be completed before joining. Previous UK or European hospitality experience is welcome; a full season of prior shipboard service is not required for this contract.

Responsibilities

  • Daily servicing of an assigned block of staterooms
  • Turnaround-day cabin reset
  • Guest preference tracking
  • Linen and amenity inventory
  • Muster station duties
