Fishing Vessel Engineer — Adriatic (Seasonal)

••• is recruiting an engineer on behalf of a private Adriatic fishing operator for the 2027 season aboard a 34 m trawler based in Split. The vessel owner's identity is shared with shortlisted applicants after they apply.

You will keep the vessel's main engine, hydraulic winches and refrigeration plant running through a demanding fishing schedule, carry out running repairs at sea, and manage fuel and spare parts stock between trips. STCW Basic Safety Training and a current TR Seafarer Health Certificate (or flag-state equivalent) are required, along with at least four years of experience maintaining machinery on fishing or small commercial vessels.
