About the role

We are looking for a second engineer for a 225 m bulk carrier, joining and signing off directly in Rotterdam on a 60/60 rotation. The plant is a two-stroke main engine with three auxiliary generators and a fresh water generator that needs close monitoring on longer ocean passages.

You will run the daily maintenance schedule for auxiliary machinery, supervise the third engineer and oiler's watches, and manage spare parts requisitions ahead of each port call. A Second Engineer CoC (STCW III/2) or higher and a current MLC medical certificate are required, along with at least six years of engine room experience.
