About the role

••• is looking for a limited master to command a 32 m harbour and escort tug based in Dubai, supporting berthing operations and occasional offshore towage jobs in the Arabian Gulf. Rotation is 28 days on, 28 days off, joining and signing off in Dubai.

You will handle ship-assist and towage operations in a busy commercial port, supervise a crew of seven, and keep the tug's readiness and maintenance log current between jobs. A TR Limited Master (<500GT) certificate of competency and a current MLC medical certificate are required, along with at least six years of tug or small commercial vessel command experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ship-assist and towage operations in port and coastal waters
  • Command and supervision of a seven-person crew
  • Tug readiness, maintenance log and safety equipment checks
  • Liaison with port control and pilots during berthing jobs
