Third Mate — M/V Bulk Carrier (60/60 rotation)

We are looking for a junior deck officer for a 225 m bulk carrier trading between Northern Europe, West Africa and South America, signing on and off directly in Rotterdam. Rotation is 60 days on, 60 days off.

You will keep bridge watches under the chief mate's supervision, assist with cargo hold inspections during loading and discharge, and maintain navigation and safety equipment records. A TR Officer of the Watch (Deck, Unlimited) certificate, GMDSS General Operator's Certificate and a current MLC medical certificate are required. This is a good next step for a recently qualified deck officer with some bulk carrier or general cargo experience.
